Chinese Gospel Church of Toronto is an evangelical church established in 1963 as part of the Associated Gospel Churches of Canada (AGC).

In our forty-four years of ministry we have grown to nine congregations and have planted three mature independent churches in the Greater Toronto Area. Our established downtown English-speaking congregation of 200 is currently seeking a full-time English-speaking pastor.

The congregation's demographic runs the spectrum from infants to seniors, the largest segments being young working people and families with young children. At the same time, our location within walking distance of several high schools and college and university campuses in downtown Toronto provides tremendous opportunities for ministry to students.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our current pastor, Rev. George Bradford who has over 40 years of ministry experience. The nature and extent of this collaboration is flexible and will depend on the candidate's needs and Pastor Bradford's availability.

Candidates should have ministry experience (5-10 years) and strengths in:

  1. Preaching & Teaching: which should be expository & life changing
  2. Discipling members to maturity in Christ
  3. Leadership: with the ability to influence others to follow Christ through the medium of teaching & personal example, and to have the ability to lead a multi-staff team
  4. Pastoral counseling
